Thank you for being a Tykables’ customer and part of the foundation of our community. This year marked our 8 year anniversary and that would not be possible without your feedback and continued support. In an effort to be open, transparent, and absolutely honest about our current situation we wanted to reach out to the community to let everyone know of some upcoming changes. We realize the past two years have been very challenging for many people. As a company, Tykables has absorbed the increasing costs of raw materials, domestic shipping, and import fees to keep prices unchanged except for our new higher capacity diapers.
It is however with much regret that we are left without enough favorable choices in this matter and apologize for no longer being able to absorb these cost increases. We have considered many possible options to avoid raising our prices and have made several changes to help. In order to ensure our ability to continue growing as a company and after carefully analyzing increased materials, import costs, domestic shipping, and overhead costs, we are writing to inform everyone of some necessary price adjustments in the near future.
These will not be immediate as we wanted to let everyone know of them before they go into effect. This will give time for anyone on the fence about ordering something on instock products. We would prefer to be open and transparent about the changes before they happen as this is not something we do lightly. We have looked at several options however in the end and after speaking with many customers about this topic we concluded that most people would prefer simple predictable pricing that include shipping. So we have decided that we will adjust the pricing to offset the increased costs. This means that we will keep free domestic shipping for all Tykables orders to keep things simple and easy to understand.
These adjustments will help us ensure our commitment to providing the very best products and services to the community, rather than trying to cut costs by lowering the quality of our diapers, clothing, materials or some other manner that changes the products. With our adjusted prices we are still more times than not lower in price than our competitors for comparable products for a final price. As always all of our prices include free domestic shipping and tax, which is not the case for several of our competitors, which can make thier 'reatil price' look lower in some situations.
